Through the life and experience of Maharajin Bua, perhaps the only woman in India who has been performing the last rites and cremating the dead at Allahabad’s Rasoolabad Ghat for the last 75 years, this film explores the relationship of death to life, our response to our own impending death and the deaths of others.
