A film about Himachal Pradesh's precious Renuka Valley - home to biodiverse forests, fertile lands and people who have been living and farming in India's northern mountains for generations. This valley lies in the submergence area for a dam project that is meant to supply Delhi with water. The Film takes a look at the stakes for this dam, and asks whether Delhi needs this dam or Himachal's water, at all. What can Delhi learn from the Renuka Valley?

The Constitution of India defines and declares the nation state’s common goal – To secure to all the citizens of India, justice – social, economic and political, Liberty; equality and fraternity. However, serious problems beset the judicial system as a result of which it is largely dysfunctional, unaccountable, inaccessible and insensitive, especially to the poor. The Film is an attempt to decipher the judicial process in India from the standpoints of the all the stake holders: people who are the seekers of justice, lawyers who are the intermediaries of justice and the Judiciary that dispenses justice; in the process, understanding how far removed we are from the constitutional vision of Justice.

The north Indian region of Ladakh is barren and rocky, a cold desert. The biggest problem for the people, like in any desert, is the shortage of water. The Film chronicles the pioneering work of Chewang Norphel who builds artificial glaciers that provide water to the farmers in summer through an innovative engineering process of channelising main water resources.
