Arpita Sinha is an independent filmmaker, communications consultant and writer based in New Delhi. She has worked variously, with a television network (NDTV), production houses, leading magazines, international organisations, NGOs and corporate firms on issues of gender, education, emerging urban sociologies, environment and health. Her current projects include films on maternal health, rural displacement and unemployment due to construction of dams in Maharashtra and workshops with children and young adults on filmmaking, gender issues and child rights.
