Ashoke Viswanathan, an F.T.I.I. (Pune) graduate, (1982-85), is a two time National Award winning filmmaker and an International Award winner. Four fiction films, directed by him, have been included in the Indian Panorama sections of the International Film Festival of India in 1994, 1999, 2001, and 2002. He has been a visiting professor at F.T.I.I., S.R.F.T.I. and Tufts University (Boston).
