After studying Film & Television at Columbia University, Dr. S. Krishnaswamy in the first decade of his work as Documentary filmmaker won four National Award and several others later. Recently, he received the Lifetime Achievement Awards from the US International Film & Video Festival, Los Angeles, and the Padma Shri. His most recent works include Indian Imprints, A Different Pilgrimage and Tracking Indian Footmarks – all three on the cultural impact of ancient India on South East Asia.
