Miriam, a post-graduate from the Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi, is a broadcast journalist. She has directed a 7 part series titled `Back to the Floor' for BBC World, which won the Indian television awards for `Best Business Series 2004'. She has also directed a documentary `The Stuntmen of Bollywood' which will premier shortly on the National Geographic Channel. It was nominated for `the most innovative film' at the 2005 Show Real Asia Awards.
