K. BIKRAM SINGH

K. Bikram Singh started his life as a civil servant and became a fulltime filmmaker in 1983. His feature Tarpan has been shown at Moscow, Montreal, Chicago and Cairo International Film Festivals. Environment and visual arts are his special areas of interest. He has made 40 films on Indian painters and painting and 10 documentaries on environment related issues and has also produced and directed the highly acclaimed film on Satyajit Ray called ‘Satyajit Ray Introspections’.
