Ruchir Joshi is a filmmaker and writer based in Calcutta. His earlier work engages with changing culture in India and the challenges of reflecting those changes through an alternative cine-language. Joshi is also the author of a novel, The Last Jet-Engine Laugh, and his work as a writer and columnist continues alongside his work in film and video.
