A graduate from the Film and Television institute of India, with a specialisation in Motion picture photography, Kasuhik went on to do an advanced post production course in the UK, with the BBC, and worked as an assistant producer in various genres of programming. After returning to India in the late nineties he directed and photographed many corporate documentaries, Ad films, documentaries and fiction works for various producers including National Geographic, UNESCO, UNDP and FAO , noteworthy among them a five part series on Tibetan Buddhism that won the Best Documentary Award at the Toronto International Festival.
